Looking to adopt a new family member?
Adding a new family pet is a big decision. You want to find the right personality match for your family and your situation.Take time to research the animal type before adopting. Our best advice is to look for a personality match. Don't shy away from slightly older or even adult animals as their personalities are more developed and finding a true match is often easier. If you are away from home for long hours you might want to consider adopting a pair so they have company during the times you are away.
Browse our photo gallery and read up on the animals we currently have up for adoption. When you have found the animal or animals you are interested in please download and fill out the application form (you will need Word to open this document) and tell us about yourself, your living situation and what you are looking for in your animal partner. Once your form is complete please email it to .
We work hard to match each furry friend with the best family for them :)

Cats and Kittens
Adopting a cat is a great way of giving an animal a chance at a loving home. Kittens might have more cuteness per square inch than any other animal. They can also be trouble if not socialized, and given the other necessities of life. Grown cats may not be a cute kitten, they will come to you with a unique and wonderful personality, already fully formed. They also may be more settled, and less rambunctious.
One of the most important cat adoption tips is making sure that your adopted pet has the right personality to fit in with your existing family. Shelters are often able to provide you with a detailed history of their residents’ backgrounds, as well as advising on which of their cats might suit you and your family best. We ask that you also provide a few pictures of the home ( just main living areas, no private spaces) to help ensure the best fit for kitty. References MUST be provided.

Dogs and Puppies
Looking for a Dog or puppy? We do get some in time to time. Dogs are like children and should be considered part of the family.
Please before applying really think about the long term commitment they come with. Daily walks and attention, good quality food, vet care and more is needed to have a happy dog and happy family.
If your ready for the commitment you can apply here with a adoption form. You will be asked for pictures of the home and yard. We love our babies and want the best possible home for each of them
Other Small Critters
Paws N Claws Freedom Rescue Society sometimes has animals other than the usual dogs and cats. We have helped re-home birds, hamsters, bunnies and even lizards. Each animal has their own needs for housing, food and care.
If you are interested in a critter, always do your research on the particular animal. When you are ready we would love to match you with a special pet.
Any critters we have will be listed here when they are ready for adoption. Application forms are to be completed and submitted by email.
Guinea Pigs are not for everyone and need special care and handling. Please check out the above website to see if they are right for your family. We currently have 6 piggies available for adoption. Please refer to the Adoptions photos for more information on each of them.
